MIZU
Tetsuo

MIZU Tetsuo was born on 1944 in Tokyo. In 1971, he studied in Musashino Art Academy and was deeply inspired by Modigliani. He was a member of the Free Art Association and held his first solo exhibition in 1975 in Tokyo. Mizu lived and worked in Rome, Italy from 1983 to 1988 with his family. In 1987, he was invited to the First Representational Art Concours in Anzio was awarded the Special Prize award. Church of St. Anna, Lavinio (Rome) commission Mizu to create stained - glass works for the church. Since then, Mizu held and participated in many exhibitions in Europe and also in Japan.

He now works in his studio located at the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan.
